Pre-Appointment Info
I’m so excited for our upcoming appointment together! Here is all the information you will need for the day:
Preparation
- Make sure to eat a full meal and drink water within at least 4 hours of your appointment time.
- Please try to arrive on time or 5-10 minutes early (at most) to your appointment. See parking information below for some important information to help make this possible. If you are running late, please send me a text or Instagram DM to let me know, and give me an estimate on your ETA. If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, your appointment will be considered a no-show and will be cancelled.
- Unless you regularly shave the area we are tattooing already, please do not shave yourself in advance. It is much safer to let me do this for you!
- Dress for the area that is being tattooed. For example, if you are getting your knee tattooed, wear shorts. If you are getting your shoulder tattooed, wear a tank top. Pasties will be provided by the shop for any tattoo that requires access to the chest area. We also have a privacy partition upon request if you feel uncomfortable in any way.
- If you are interested in using numbing cream for your appointment, please let me know in advance and I can advise you on the safest application procedures and brands that I recommend.
- As a courtesy to your artist, please practice good hygiene and try to arrive clean to your appointment 🙂
Address & Parking
444 Tattoo is located next to Radio Coffee South at 2008 Fort View Rd. Your parking options are:
- The paved parking lot in front of Radio Coffee.
- Street parking on Fort View Rd.
- “444 Tattoo Parking” labeled spots in the yard & driveway.
- The gravel lot directly behind Radio Coffee.
- Overflow parking in the lot directly across the street from us next to A-Line Auto Parts. The spots from our street side up until the yellow speed bump are free parking. At the speed bump, there is a sign that says “A-Line Parking Only” with an arrow. This is the end of the overflow parking. The lot looks like this:

This is an extremely busy space so you might need to circle a few times / wait for someone to leave to find a spot. Please plan your route to the shop in advance & try to arrive with enough time to find parking. You can text to let me know if you are having trouble finding a spot and I will try to help!
Guests
You may bring up to 1 guest to your appointment. However, your guest will not be able to sit with you while you are being tattooed. They are welcome to hang out in our lobby or next door at Radio Coffee, either indoors or in their comfortable outdoor patio space. We are a small shop and this policy helps keep everyone safe and comfortable. No person under the age of 18 is permitted in our shop.
Payment
You can pay the final cost of your tattoo with cash or card, or whatever payment method you used to pay your deposit (Venmo, Paypal, or Cash App). We should have already discussed a price range based on your budget, so you should have some idea of what your tattoo will cost. I can generally guess pretty accurately how long tattoos will take, and I always try to give you an idea of the upper end of the price range. However, I cannot guarantee the exact timing of any tattoo, so if the tattoo ends up taking more time than I anticipated, the final price could be higher.
I work with a timer that only times when the machine is running to ensure that I price all my tattoos accurately down to the minute at $150 per hour. If it looks like we are going to go over the price range that I quoted you, I will always let you know so there are no surprises. Please let me know in advance if you need to stay under a certain amount for our session and I can plan timing accordingly to accommodate.
All flash is pre-priced! You can check the flash gallery on my “Flash” booking page for all pricing here. If you would like to increase the size of your flash design from the largest number of inches on the sheet, the price will be raised accordingly.
Tipping is always appreciated but never expected!
What to Bring
You do not necessarily need to bring anything but yourself & your ID to your appointment! But some people find the following helpful:
- Comfortable zip-up jacket (in case you get cold or need to cover up)
- Headphones (if you prefer to distract yourself instead of talking)
- Light snacks
- Water bottle
We have complimentary water and some snack options here at the shop if you get hungry, especially during long sessions. We are also located in the same lot as several food trucks if you need a larger meal during a long session.
I also have some stress balls and fidget toys as distractions while you are being tattooed.
Conduct
444 Tattoo is a proudly LGBT-owned and inclusive shop, and I myself am proudly LGBT. No hate speech or inappropriate behavior of any kind will be tolerated by any clients or guests, and I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who makes me uncomfortable.
Please try to refrain from interrupting other artists and clients by wandering around or entering any other artist’s stations. My room is shared with another tattoo artist and they may be tattooing while you are being tattooed. Try not to distract them and maintain a respectful volume so we can all be comfortable in our room.
Thank you so much for booking with me and I look forward to working with you very soon! As always, feel free to reach out to me with any questions or check my FAQ for more information.
